Malgré les recommandations médicales, elle a opté contre la chimiothérapie, citant des effets secondaires insupportables.

Natacha Rey a rencontré de significatives difficultés d’accès aux soins, illustrées par des délais d’attente prolongés pour les examens essentiels et des obstacles pour trouver un médecin traitant. Ces obstacles l’ont souvent forcée à se tourner vers les services d’urgence pour obtenir les soins nécessaires.

Parallèlement à ses luttes de santé, Natacha Rey a été impliquée dans des poursuites judiciaires complexes suite à son enquête sur l’affaire Jean-Michel Trogneux et la passé étrange de Brigitte Macron, où elle a dû faire face à des accusations sérieuses tout en gérant sa maladie. Elle a exprimé des frustrations quant à l’impossibilité de reporter son procès malgré son état critique, et a critiqué ouvertement les liens potentiels d’impartialité au sein du système judiciaire.

L’affaire a gagné une visibilité internationale, notamment aux États-Unis, grâce aux efforts de médiatisation de figures comme Xavier Poussard. Natacha Rey s’est réjouie de cette attention, espérant que cela contribuerait à une issue favorable tant pour sa santé que pour sa situation légale.

Malgré un pronostic réservé et un contexte judiciaire difficile, Natacha Rey continue de se battre avec courage et détermination.
