Lors des dernières élections, vous avez déclaré avoir voté pour le parti présidentiel. Qu’est-ce qui a motivé ce choix ?

J’ai souhaité clarifier ma position, car plusieurs partis, qu’ils soient de droite ou de gauche, tentaient de récupérer mon image. Je voulais éviter toute ambiguïté. Certes, le Rassemblement National défend certaines valeurs proches des miennes, mais pas toutes. Je pense qu’il y a du bon et du mauvais dans chaque camp, à gauche comme à droite. Je tiens à être transparent : je n’incite personne à voter comme moi. Chacun est libre de ses choix, et c’est là toute la force de la démocratie.

Si votre choix s’était porté sur le RN, l’auriez-vous assumé publiquement de la même manière ?

Bien sûr. De toute façon, certains m’associent déjà à l’extrême droite, simplement parce que j’affiche un drapeau français dans ma salle de sport. C’est absurde. On peut se demander si ce symbole national n’a pas été accaparé par un camp, au point d’être délaissé par l’autre. Ce qui compte pour moi, c’est de rester honnête et fidèle à mes convictions. Cela dit, il est vrai qu’en tant qu’artiste ou créateur de contenu, il est souvent plus facile d’affirmer un vote à gauche. Mais ceux qui le font aujourd’hui sont-ils toujours sincères, ou cherchent-ils simplement à s’aligner sur une norme culturelle ? La question mérite d’être posée.
