Alors que le parquet a mis les bouchées doubles et multiplié le nombre d’audiences, week-end compris, la permanence pénale mise en place par le barreau, au titre de la commission d’office, sera sensiblement étoffée durant les épreuves olympiques et paralympiques, jusqu’au 8 septembre.

Pour les comparutions immédiates, ces audiences correctionnelles devant lesquelles les justiciables sont présentés menottes aux poignets, sitôt sortis de garde à vue, dix-huit avocats – soit le double de l’effectif habituel – seront mobilisés chaque jour, samedis et dimanches compris. « On est vraiment ici dans le pénal d’urgence, qui exige beaucoup de réactivité, dans des délais très courts », détaille Me Bousardo, elle-même avocate pénaliste.
